Kid*Vention is back! 

Kid*Vention is the Museum's free family science festival, and this year kids and their families can take a trip down the Rivanna River and learn what we're doing to protect it, enjoy a planetarium show and fun astronomy activities, make their own mini-wind turbines and watch them spin, see sunspots through a solar telescope, play in a giant tub of oobleck, test the strength of some tiny materials, and more!  You'll see plenty of hands-on activities, crafts and games.  Sponsored by the Virginia Discovery Museum, WVPT, the City of Charlottesville, and Lite Rock Z95.1, this is one event your family won’t want to miss!
